The Mask

Since she was little she’s had plenty of friends, friends to share stories with, friends to play stupid jokes with, friends for her amusements. In her school years, she’s always that hilarious girl people enjoy having around. Sara is a free-spirited girl. Yet truth be told, she’s actually a sheltered child living in a lonely dream.

Sara is a born liar you see, she’d kept her insecurities and dark secrets concealed inside leaving no clue for anyone to see through. It’s a habit of her to never stick around in just one group of friends, she thrives in the attention and she doesn’t slack up until she’s the topic of the conversation.

When she was 9, she’d found Christ through the terrifying belief of the existence of Hell. By 13, she’d built a fabrication of life she wanted people to see when she found out the odd feelings she had towards another which is forbidden by the Bible. The life Sara led was a disguise, a mask stitched so deep in her that sometimes became the master of herself.

Once she set foot in the real world, she grew tired of lying and reality sank in. She didn’t know who she really was, who she’s not or who she wanted to be. All alone, forgotten and insecure, everything fell apart. No one bothered to find her, the mask was all Sara had.

These are the darkest moments of her life, she knows no way in finding her true self. The mask kept its distance close but she choose to cut it out and just restart. TO BE CONTINUED…
